2026 Cohorts.Art Non-Refundable Deposit

$120.00

We are excited to have you in the 2026 Cohorts Program!

Student Participation Agreement:

Tuition
Tuition for 2026 Cohorts.Art is $4,200 (which includes the $120 non-refundable registration deposit). This cost covers a full year of mentorship, the weeklong in-person workshop, access to the Cohorts Lecture Series, administrative costs and the opportunity to join in all the other cool stuff that 2026 might bring. Students may pay in-full at the beginning, or by automatic recursive monthly payments of $340.  First or full payment is due by December 27th, 2025.

Workshop
Students are  responsible for travel and lodging costs for the in-person workshop. Mentors will not be housing students. Shared VRBO rentals have worked well for past Cohorts.

Withdrawal
If you decide to withdraw from Cohorts.Art after three months, you are still responsible for 50% of the remaining tuition.  The Cohort will be too involved in the program at that time to bring in a new student, and the costs of running the program remain.

Missed Class
Your mentor will create a routine schedule (meeting twice a month) with you for the entire year, but we understand things come up. If you need to miss a scheduled one-on-one session with your mentor, please notify them more than 24 hours prior if you want the opportunity to reschedule. (Exceptions will be made in emergency situations on a case-by-case basis.)

Group classes will occur on the last Sunday of the month, time of day will be coordinated with you and your Cohorts class.   Unfortunately, missed group sessions cannot be rescheduled, unless the need to do so is determined by the mentor.

When you pay the deposit to hold your spot, you will be required to acknowledge reading and accepting the above Student Participation Agreement and the Cohorts Code of Conduct which you’ll find a little lower on this page.

Code of Conduct

Cohorts.Art is an educational mentorship program established for artists to learn and build community in a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Cohorts.Art is relational learning. As such, trust and safe learning space are paramount to the success of the participants.  We are committed to equity, access, and quality artistic growth for all.  Feedback and adaptability are core to small batchlearning, and we are dependent on opinions and communicated experiences of our students and mentors.

Expectations

  • All participants--students, mentors, management--are expected to treat each other with respect regardless of age, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation,  religious beliefs, disability status.

  • Bullying, belittling, and sexual harassment will not be tolerated.

  • Communication must always be respectful and considerate towards all involved.

  • Confidentiality must be maintained at all times, and personal information shared should never be disclosed to others without explicit permission.

  • Mentors and mentees must act with integrity and in accordance with the program's objectives.

  • Any grievances or concerns must be reported promptly to the program coordinators, who will address the issue in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Conflict Resolution

  • Should a problem arise, mediation steps will be taken, and if necessary, removal made from Cohorts.Art. This applies not only to students, but mentors and management alike.

Please immediately contact Cohorts.Art director, Simon Levin, and/or manager, AnnMarie Cooper, for assistance if you encounter a problem with a member of our community.
