How it Works

A virtual meeting with seven people participating via video call, each in their own home.

1 Year | 24 One-on-One Meetings with Your Mentor| 12 Class Meetings |1 Weeklong In-Person Workshop

Beginning in January, each mentor will meet via Zoom with their students individually twice a month, and once a month with their small cohort of students to move the conversation, ideas and the work to the next level. Each cohort will also come together during the year for a weeklong hands-on workshop with their mentor.

What it Costs

$4,200 USD for the year.

We make this payable through automatic monthly payments of $340 month for 12 months,
plus a $120 non-refundable deposit at time of registration.

Students are responsible for travel and lodging costs for the in-person workshop.

Mentors will not be housing students. Shared VRBO rentals have worked well for past Cohorts.

Cohorts is committed to offering equitable art education opportunities. We will be offering several half-tuition Art Equity Scholarships annually.

Plan ahead! The application will include several questions to help us get to know you and your goals, and asks for 5 photos of your work.

The selection process is an earnest effort to build a cohesive Cohort while placing you with a mentor who best pairs with your gifts and goals.
