Rebecca Ickes Carra has been a self-employed artist for more than 12 years. She's worked as a professional photographer, documenting luxury events all over the world and is now launching a ceramics studio with her husband (who has 8+ years of production pottery experience). She loves demystifying photography & business for makers and firmly believes the way she can bring about much needed change to an inequitable world is by helping independent artists build viable businesses that support thriving lives.

Rebecca is the host and founder of "The Maker's Playbook" podcast which she describes as "A podcast where we talk all about what it's really like to make a living from the things you make. Featuring candid interviews with other ceramicists and makers, as well as helpful business tips to make your side-hustle into a life-giving, viable business."
